Are you attracted to trying watercolour painting but do not know where to start?

Don’t be daunted by large sheets of paper and expensive tubes of paint. Christine Macpherson will show you some of the basic skills by producing little greeting-card sized paintings. In this way you will be practicing the techniques without the pressure and will produce small useable pieces of art. We will learn the properties of watercolour paints, their interaction with paper and water and brush techniques.

If you already have purchased a box of paints, bring them along with your paint brushes.

3 sheets of quality watercolour paper and 6 greeting card bases will be provided to start you on your journey.

A basic beginners kit will be available for purchase for $20 if ordered in advance, preferably when you book at chrismacp3188@gmail.com.
