Sustainable Crafting
Crafting is stimulating, mindful and rewarding but can it be an expensive pastime. These activities will demonstrate how to craft without spending a fortune and using what you may already have at home. Importantly, we can reduce landfill by reusing using some of our unavoidable paper and packaging.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose.

Absolute beginners in water colours
Don’t be daunted by large sheets of paper and expensive tubes of paint. Christine Macpherson will show you some of the basic skills by producing little greeting-card sized paintings. In this way you will be practicing the techniques without the pressure and will produce small useable pieces of art. We will learn the properties of watercolour paints, their interaction with paper and water and brush techniques.
