The title of the exhibition is BACK TO NATURE and will be held at Hobsons Bay Civic Centre, kicking off on 13 February 2026, until 12 March.

This theme lends itself to endless possibilities - botanical, landscapes, the four elements of nature – earth, air, fire & water, flora and fauna, animal & vegetable, environmental  & ecological issues, material usage like leaves, rocks, flowers for collages, using natural pigments for dye or creating art that mimics natural patterns like honeycomb or the structure of a bird’s wing for example, the list goes on….

Entries close: Friday 6 February

• Bump in: Wednesday 11 February 9am-10am 

• Bump out: Thursday 12 March 3pm-4pm 

• Up to 2 artworks per artist can be entered (no entry fee)  

• An important note to all exhibiting artists. Please ensure all artworks are dry. We urge you to please identify your work on the back with your name & title, and more importantly, please affix hanging wire and rings to your works. We can sell you a hanging kit for $5 (set of 2) if you do not have the materials on hand. In future, we cannot accept work without the appropriate hanging mechanism. The onus is on you to present your work ready to hang – and this helps our job immensely!
